FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Good questions. Clear answers.
Useful information about damaged glass, making an enquiry and what needs to be confirmed before work is arranged.
What should I do if a window or door glass breaks?
Keep people and pets away from the damaged area. Do not touch loose glass or operate a damaged door or window. Call to discuss the situation and current availability. If there is immediate danger to people, contact emergency services.
What information helps with a glass replacement enquiry?
Your suburb, the type of window or door, a description of the damage and safe access details are a good start. Include approximate dimensions only if safely known. Photographs can be attached to an email from a safe distance; an assessment may still be necessary.
Do you offer 24-hour emergency glass repair?
The supplied opening hours are 7:00 AM–9:00 PM, seven days a week. A 24-hour emergency service, immediate attendance and guaranteed response times have not been confirmed. Phone during opening hours to ask about availability.
Can I request work outside Hawthorn and Hawthorn East?
Yes, you can enquire about a nearby suburb. Coverage for Camberwell, Kew, Glen Iris, Toorak and other surrounding areas should be confirmed directly before arranging work.
Can a cracked pane be repaired without replacing it?
Damaged building glass generally needs replacement rather than a cosmetic repair. The frame, glass type and location should be assessed to determine an appropriate solution.
Can you replace shower screens or double-glazed units?
These require assessment of the specific product and installation. Please provide details and ask about capability and availability. Specialist services are not confirmed simply by being mentioned on this website.
Does an online enquiry confirm a booking?
No. The email-request tool opens your email application with a draft. You must send it yourself. A booking, price or attendance time is only agreed directly with the business.
